Microschool Founder: Loretta Eagar
My name is Loretta, and I am married and am a mother of 5 kids, 4 beautiful girls and 1
handsome boy. I love to create art. I draw, paint, craft, sculpt, woodwork, and anything else
that allows me to express my creativity. Another one of my passions is to coaching sports. I
have played and coached soccer, track and gymnastics. As an athlete, I took state in track
in pole vault. I also competed in track and soccer at a college level. I am part owner/coach
of the L & M Gymnastics facility in Eagar. I coach because I love helping kids find their true
potential by teaching them that they can do hard things. I love to see kids push through
hard situations and learn that if they never give up that they can succeed and grow.
I started home schooling in the 2024 school year. I saw the freedom it gave kids to learn
and pursue things that interest them. It also allowed me more time with my kids and
provides an opportunity to help influence other children. As a teacher, I enjoy seeing
children learn and grow. I strive to help them build the confidence and determination to do
and be anything they want to. I help achieve this by helping them set goals and continue
working until they accomplish them. Even if it takes them 100 tries. Seeing how excited and
happy they get when they finally reach a goal is my favorite part of working with kids.
I am a strong believer in being kind and courteous to everyone and I encourage my learners
to do exactly that. I will help them learn to treat themselves and others with kindness. I
want them to learn that they can have a growth mindset that helps them to not be hard on
themselves. The growth mindset will also allow them to seek opportunity in difficulty,
helping them achieve even more difficult goals.
